I came across this market because I just reached my guesthouse and was looking for food, and my guesthouse manager drove me here. As the name suggest, this market opens daily and sits in the midst of a shopping street.
Apparently, they have a lot of delicious food here, like everywhere the shops are with long queues! You could get your Jeju souvenirs like Chocolate rice crunch, Jeju Chocolate and all here as well. What makes this place interesting is, it just sits here like a food street rather than a market. You have chicken, rice cakes, juices stalls that are really famous.
And of course, Jeju is famous for their seafood. Nothing beats walking on the streets and seeing both stretch of the roads having tanks filled with all kinds of sea creatures, waiting for you to get them on the plate. It’s massive!
As mentioned earlier, the market sits on a shopping street. Surrounding that area, you have shops selling phones, clothes, comestics, international brands like Reebok, Adidas and so on. Across the market, you could also find many other restaurants.
I find myself ending up at this place almost every night in Jeju just because!
To get here: Take bus #730 from Seogwipo Bus Terminal, drop at Domngmun Rotary and walk 5 mins.
