[How to] Easyticket website tutorial

bus1

I promised to do another tutorial on another webpage which would help in planning the bus journeys last year & I am finally doing it after half a year has passed. So sorry but better be late than never.

So yes, I heavily depended on these websites, even during this year’s trip, I used them to help me with my planning, determine which mode of transport is faster, how to get there, plan my time in each place and more. For those travelling to less popular attractions really should consider using this website as well, since it really features a lot of routes. & so cutting the crap and going right straight into the topic.

This website is called Easyticket: https://www.hticket.co.kr/main.action
*Note: This website is only in Korean and thus basic Korean reading skills needed.

So upon entering the website, you can see that everything, literally everything, is in Korean. Notice the small little box at the bottom left hand corner, that is where you choose your departure terminal and arriving terminal, date and time, and what kind of bus you looking for. Very simple steps and it will lead you to the next page.

& the next page is very straightforward, tells you the schedule, the bus type, the fare and most importantly, the amount of time needed to get to your destination.

Like all other websites I have done tutorials on, the main purpose is not to teach you guys how to buy tickets online because these websites requires you to have a Korean identity card in order to purchase something. The main purpose is using these websites to find out your desired information to budget for transportation costs and plan for the trip.

I’ve never thought planning for a trip is easy but with all these websites, I can heave a sigh of relief, especially when I can finally get some information on some “who what where when how” in a foreign land.

I did up a list of bus terminals in Korea, though not complete but basically the more important and bigger bus terminals for convenience sake. Each terminal has a number code and you can find them using the number codes if reading Korean isn’t your forte.
